Lindsey graduated from one of the top-ranked programs in Organizational Behavior, she studied with the leading scholars of Appreciative Inquiry, Emotional Intelligence, and Experiential Learning Theory. Her work has been published in a variety of journals and books, including the Oxford Handbook of Positive Organizational Scholarship, and presented at national and international conferences, including the Annual Academy of Management Meetings, World Appreciative Inquiry Conferences, and the World Congress on Positive Psychology.

In 2018, she earn the Edward Lyman Phelps Professorship, Champlain College’s highest recognition for a faculty member. In 2024 she published her first book How Do You Love A Question? (Always Bee Curious).
